Who is this for?

The Cornerstone Baptist School of Ministry is designed for believers who desire to grow in God's Word, serve more effectively in the local church, and develop as leaders who can teach and train others. Whether you are a faithful church member seeking deeper biblical understanding, a ministry worker desiring additional training, a Sunday School teacher, or someone sensing God's leading toward greater ministry involvement, this program is designed to help you grow and serve more effectively.

Program Format

The Cornerstone Baptist School of Ministry is a three-year local church ministry training program designed to help believers grow deeper in God's Word, serve more effectively in the local church, and develop as leaders who can teach and train others also.

The program consists of six semesters of study, with classes offered during both the Fall and Spring semesters. Students will complete two courses each semester, one Bible-focused and one ministry-focused, providing a balance of Bible instruction and practical ministry training while equipping believers to grow in God's Word, serve faithfully in the local church, and teach others also. The program is open to students aged 15 and older and will meet on Tuesday evenings from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM during the Fall and Spring semesters.  Courses combine classroom instruction, guided note-taking, practical assignments, personal Bible reading, and ministry application projects designed to encourage both learning and spiritual growth.

Students may begin in any year of the program and complete the full three-year cycle as the curriculum rotates.

Our Goal

The goal of the Cornerstone Baptist School of Ministry is not merely to provide information, but to help believers become faithful servants who know God's Word, walk with God, serve in the local church, and teach others also.

We desire to develop faithful servants who will invest in others, strengthen the work of the local church, and help pass biblical truth from generation to generation.

Participation Options

Students may participate in the Cornerstone Baptist School of Ministry through one of two pathways:

Ministry Track

Designed for those seeking intentional ministry, leadership, and discipleship development through coursework, assignments, practical ministry application, and accountability. Students in the Ministry Track complete all course requirements and practical ministry projects and receive a Certificate of Completion upon successful completion of the program.

Learning Track

Designed for those who desire to attend classes for personal growth and biblical enrichment without completing the full program requirements. Students in the Learning Track participate in the classroom instruction and receive the same course materials, but are not required to complete assignments or ministry projects.

Both pathways participate together in the classroom experience and benefit from the same biblical instruction and ministry training. The Ministry Track is designed for those who desire to move beyond simply hearing God's Word and intentionally pursue growth through study, application, service, and leadership development.
